Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the boringpilot mobile application (the "App"), operated by Boring Pilot ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

boringpilot provides educational content and study tools for pilots and aviation students, including practice questions, learning materials, spaced-repetition review, and progress tracking. The App is a study aid only.

Important — educational use only

boringpilot content is a study aid. It is not a substitute for official airline manuals, FCOM/FCTM, aviation authority materials (such as those of the DGCA, EASA, or FAA), certified instruction, or official training. Content may contain errors and is provided for practice purposes only. You must not rely on this App for actual operational flight decisions. Always rely on official, current, authoritative sources — the relevant aviation authority, your operator's manuals, and certified instructors — for operational, examination, and certification decisions. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on App content.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse the App; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data; copy, redistribute, or resell the App's content without permission; reverse-engineer the App except as permitted by law; or use the App for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its content are original works owned by Boring Pilot and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial study. You may not reproduce or redistribute the App's content without our written permission.

5. User data and privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

6. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that content is error-free or current.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boring Pilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including any decisions made based on its content.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
